My disavow file has fewer domains and URLs than expected - why?

If both www and non www version of sites are present, we will only include one of them.

Also, we don't consider subdomains. If you are disavowing a subdomain, it will disavow the whole domain. For example, disavowing xyz.abc.com will disavow all subdomains from the abc.com domain.
